IT Use Policy

Make use of the enclosed Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) for internet and computer use within the organization. This policy can be automatically shown to users.

Acceptable IT Use Policy (AUP)

YourSafetynet school+ includes an example Acceptable IT Use Policy (AUP) which clearly outlines the policies concerning internet, computer and email use within the organization. If an Acceptable IT Use Policy (AUP) in an organization is absent or does not comply with the law, the management can, in case of a legal conflict, be held accountable for this.

How does the Acceptable Use Policy work?

With this setting, an Acceptable Use Policy can be automatically shown to users. Users will have to option to 'Agree' or 'Disagree' with, and print a copy of the AUP. You can also use your own AUP or customize the default one. Pupils in the higher classes could be asked to agree with the AUP upon using a pc for the first time. This can be fully customized and applied to your organization's needs.

Users' agreement with the AUP is registered by YourSafetynet school+ and can be viewed by the manager. Should any changes to the contents of the AUP be made, this accepting-process can be easily repeated. This ensures all users have read and accepted the latest Acceptable Use Policy.
